It all began with a love for designing tailored pieces for myself and others—a passion that led me to collaborate with numerous brands and sell on retail platforms and marketplaces.

But on December 1, 2019, life took an unexpected turn. A near-fatal accident left me unable to walk, work, or fulfill marketplace orders. Stripped of my physical mobility and forced into deep introspection on a hospital bed, I asked myself, What’s next?

In those moments of stillness, the word “Cura” surfaced—not just its dictionary meaning of care and concern, but something profoundly personal. I realized that Cura was more than a name; it was a calling. It symbolized hope, healing, and balance—the very things I had neglected in my relentless pursuit of success.

The journey to recovery wasn’t mine alone. With the unwavering support of family and true friends who gave me hope, love, and strength, I began to rebuild—not just my body, but my dreams. From my bed, I started designing again, sharing pieces on Instagram—the only platform available to me at the time. Those early moments marked the rebirth of Cura Wears.
